Quality, Warranty Module Added in M1 By B & G™ ERP Version 4.0

The newly released Version 4.0 of the M1 by B & G™ ERP software program features a new quality and warranty module further aiding its application in the manufacturing sector.

The user conference held this year in Melbourne, Australia was attended by 129 representatives of companies which employ the M1 by B & G™ ERP internationally.

The new Quality and Warranty module released in Version 4.0 embraces all related functions including non-conformances, inspection, quarantine, discrepant and return materials, re-work, corrective actions, and warranty management.

Warranty or quality claims can now be completed on line.

The new Version 4.0 also enables quotes to be sourced from suppliers for parts or materials including alternative part or material choices, creating a bill of materials with the ability to select on price or availability with the capacity to construct components based on these decisions.

The new module also integrates fully with the financial data including accounts payable and accounts receivable, including the ability to accept and verify credit card payments.

Another feature is the capacity to publish work centre schedules and employee leave entitlements in public folders for general viewing.

Expanded analysis tools enable quality related data, trends and improvements to be monitored and reviewed as an aid to management together with appropriate reporting on claims and allowances.

The new modules in Version 4.0 will also assist manufacturers to maintain their ISO quality accreditation.
